We’ve had a few fun green screen shoots this week. The first was for Quality Mitsubishi and the second was for Fatburger. Surprisingly the concepts for these shoots were both from males. Dan and I didn’t have any problems with that. I will say it was a true pleasure working with these girls and especially with Renee Herlocker. I’ve shot her before and everytime I do, I always leave feeling blessed to be able to work with such a beautiful and talented individual. Here are a few stills from the projects. Enjoy.

Drinking With Pete Hits The Road and the Slopes! Join the Hooch Hounds, Pete and Ash, as they taste their way through the 2009 Taste of Vail festival where the wine flows freely, there’s no shortage of great food and the people watching is some of the best this side of the Mason Dixon Line.

Did another shoot with Pete and the girls today. We refined the format so it wasn’t a 26 minute video that lost your interest after 5 minutes.

I just gave them a few signs when their 2 and 3 minute marks hit. Ashley didn’t pay attention at all… she was too busy hitting the goat cheese, but I think the signals helped Pete break up the shoot. It’s now 5 short (2-3min.) videos that focus on 1 wine each. Give me any feedback on the format so we can make March better.

Stump The Chump

Pete Marczyk and “the Girls” Ashley and Krisana, of Marczyk Fine Wines, located in Denver Colorado showcase their January Wines of the month.

This was a really fun and simple shoot. All you need to do is mic these three and let them drink and talk. I’ll be the first to admit, that this episode was a little long and that will be taken into consideration for next months show.  It’s hard to stop Pete once he gets going. View Episode.

Dan and I did a shoot on Friday for a new years eve party. The party is at the Jet Hotel in Denver and is based on the James Bond theme.

The event coordinator for the party is Kevin Joseph of Event Savant and he brought in Alex Taylor and Erica Golding for the shoot. Kevin managed to show up 30 minutes late, but when you walk in with these two, there’s not a whole lot of complaining you can do. Dan did a good job coriagraphing the dancing because he’s such a good dancer himself, while I was the DJ to keep the party alive.

I’ll be sure to post the final product once I’m done chroma keying it and adding the desired effects. Standby.

Dan and I got back in the studio the other day for a casting call for Denver Green Screen. There has been an ongoing demand for green screen shooting for the web, whether it be for their own personal websites, or just some youtube videos. We decided to have a casting call for models and actors that have on screen experience. We had a great turnout, including some Broncos Cheerleaders, which made my job envious for the first time. The theory behind the casting call is to eliminate the talent search. We now have a pool of very skilled and professional actors and models that we like to work with and the client can choose from. We’re a 1-stop firm. We have professional writing, shooting, talent, and web implementation all under 1 roof.
