We’re leaving the 14′ Green Screen up for the Month of October for a few shoots. If you’re hesitant to shoot because of cost or lack of experience, then you need to call me. The shoot is surprisingly inexpensive and the shooting process couldn’t be any easier. Dan and I can setup a teleprompter so that you can read your script. No memorization required. We also pride ourselves on making you comfortable. If you need a beer to get you going, we’ll all head over to the Walnut room and grab one before the shoot. If you just need some down time, then there’s a lounge and music and the studio. Call me if you have any questions.
Borderless Video from Unleaded
The end product of the October 1st green screen shoot is now live. This is a good example of integrated seamless web video. The client was looking for more website/user interaction and this is what came to life. Another term for this technique is ‘Borderless Video’ or ‘Borderless Web Video’ rightfully named due to the lack of a video screen or borders that a typical video is embedded within. This can be an effective tool for getting information to the client in a cost effective way. I have also done these shoots for PowerPoint presentations. Some people don’t speak as well in public as they do in front of a camera, so this is a great technique to give a presentation without getting nervous in front of potential investors/clients. Dan and I got back into the studio the other day and shot some seamless Green Screen. The client is a Identity Theft expert and speaks worldwide on behalf of getting your Identity stolen. He was great to work with. Dan and I used a wireless lavaliere mic and the HVX200. The true beauty of this shoot was seeming 2 sheets of screen so that the subject could walk into and out of the shot. We also did some more experimenting with the lights. Take a look. Not a shodow on the back. This was by far the best green screen footage I’ve ever shot. I was able to chroma key out the back in less than 3 minutes of work in Final Cut Pro.
